Parents Are Part of the Treatment Plan is a four-week intensive learning lab designed specifically for therapists who work with teens.

Recently, a therapist described this intensive perfectly: It feels like a training and a consult combined.

That is exactly by design. Because cohorts are strictly capped at five participants, this is a highly responsive training. While we have a clear, proven framework we walk through, based on the specific needs and caseloads of the group, we actively adapt and add to the discussion to support your exact learning gaps. You bring your actual cases, and we workshop them together.

By the End of This Intensive, You Will:

The Curriculum

Week 1: Foundations of Parent Engagement

Parent engagement starts before the first session. Most therapists do not know this. We are going to change that.

Week 2: The Therapeutic Triangle

You are not caught between the teen and the parent. You are the guide for the whole system. This week you learn what that actually looks like.

Week 3: Leading Through Difficult Dynamics

The parent who pushes back, shuts down, or escalates is giving you clinical information. This week you learn how to read it -- and respond without losing your footing.

Week 4: Becoming the Guide

Integration, case consultation, and identity. You leave this week as a teen specialist who understands that treating teens means leading entire family systems.

I have spent my entire career working almost exclusively with teenagers and families.

This framework is what I have spent my professional life focusing on. I have navigated the messy, complex parent dynamics for nearly two decades so that you don't have to figure it out by trial and error.

My goal is not to hand you a script. My goal is to hand you the exact framework it took me years to build in the trenches, so you can skip the guesswork and start right where I am.

Because if you treat teens, you should be trained for teens.
